Linda and James Moody were guests at a program and reception honoring the National Endowment for the Arts 1998 Jazz Masters given by President and Mrs. Clinton at the White House Sept. 18, 1998.

 




World renowned jazz legend James Moody makes his big-screen debut in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." To the right Moody is shown in the Clint Eastwood directed film, walking an invisible dog.

Moody plays the role of an actual person by the name of William Simon Glover who was a porter at a law office in Savannah, Ga. One of Mr. Glover's duties was to walk a dog named Patrick that belonged to one of the law firm's partners. In the movie, Mr. Glover continued to walk Patrick for 20 years after the dog died!
